Scheduling an Appointment:

One of the most challenging tasks for the front desk personnel is the handling of appointments.

Dentistry is different from other types of medical care in that the vast majority of the treatments are “hands on” by the doctor.  To be successful, we need to schedule enough time, based on the type of dental needs, so the patient can receive the best quality of treatment we can provide.

Most people prefer to schedule appointments during the late afternoon hours.   While our goal is to provide customer satisfaction by meeting the your needs, be aware of the reduced appointment availability as you schedule your appointment.   The late afternoon time slots are normally scheduled about 2 months in advance.  Additionally, some appointments can require more time than originally anticipated.  This affects the afternoon appointments the most, causing appointments to be seen at later times than scheduled and a longer wait prior to being seen.
